Origin The small Vulcano island, North of Sicily (in the Lipari archipelago)
Cold-hardiness -12ºC
(10°F). It is as cold-hardy as other Chamaerops.
Description
It is a miniature form of Chamaerops
humilis, but it is more elegant and more original than Humilis.
It looks like a bonsai palm, with its small, compact, deep-green leaves.
It is to humilis what wagnerianus
is to Trachycarpus fortunei.
Culture In full sun; in the
ground or in a patio container.
